Ann Starrette
Founder

Ann Starrette is founding director of The Lydia Group, an organization whose mission is to promote, support and inspire people toward their highest calling. As a licensed PATH facilitator, she was personally trained under the leadership of bestselling author Laurie Beth Jones. She is also a graduate of Stillpoint Ministries, of Black Mountain, NC, two-year intensive Retreat Leaders Training program and is currently completing post-graduate studies at Shalem Institute for Spiritual Formation in Washington, DC.

Starrette graduated from UNC-Charlotte with a degree in business before joining her husband Tom at their business, Enterprise Printing. Enterprise has served the Lake Norman region since 1968. The Starrettes were honored with the Lake Norman Chamber's first Small Business Excellence Award in 1996. In 1998, Ann was honored with the Chamber's newly created Key Person of the Year Award - which is also named after her.

Through Ann's sharing of her own business and personal journey, her groups leave her feeling empowered to reach for their personal best. "Learning to mind your call," Starrette says, "is an uncommon journey of spirit. It means tapping into and expressing our uniqueness. We're called to chase our passion, not our pension." Ann's mission is to inspire the growth and expression of our unique gifts and talents in service to others and glory to God.

For over a decade Ann has created and directed successful programs for people in all walks of life. She speaks, leads workshops, study/mentor groups and retreats in a variety of settings---for companies, congregations, groups and individuals. She is adjunct staff with Davidson United Methodist Church, serving as Director of Spiritual Formation and currently serves on the Board of Directors at Well of Mercy, a healing ministry of the Sisters of Mercy.

You only decide how you're going to live." -- Joan Baez
