Attention / Intention

ATTENTION / INTENTION

Thursday, September 3, 2026
11:30 am - 1:00 pm EST

The one thing needed

Facilitated by Nancy Bellamy & Ann Starrette

A practice of paying attention (how to work) to what we are doing for the love of God and disregarding every other thought is a practical, simple way - though not necessarily easy way - of opening ourselves to a deeper level of contemplation.  Your intention (why you are working) to do what you are doing for the love of God connects you with the divine presence in a powerful way. When attention to the present moment and a pure intention are established as habits, then you have, in the fullest sense of the word, contemplative service.  Attention energizes, and intention transforms together fostering our co-creativity with God.
