Strength in a Shifting World
A One-Day Retreat for Men | Led by Tom Peckham
When life changes, what keeps you grounded?
Careers change. Children grow up. Responsibilities shift. Sometimes the roles that have helped us understand who we are begin to look different—and we find ourselves wondering what comes next.
These changes can bring freedom and possibility. They can also leave us feeling uncertain, unsettled, or unsure of our purpose.
Strength in a Shifting World offers men a day to step away from everyday demands, pay attention to their present season, and listen for God’s invitation within it. Together, we’ll explore what gives our lives meaning, what we may need to release, and what helps us remain rooted in faith as familiar things change.
Space to reflect and reconnect
Our day will include brief teaching, guided personal reflection, quiet prayer, small-group conversation, and lunch together. There will be room to listen, speak honestly, and consider questions such as:
· What is changing in this season of my life?
· How have my roles and responsibilities shaped my sense of identity?
· What might God be inviting me to release—or receive?
· Which relationships and spiritual practices help me stay grounded?
· What might my next faithful step look like?
You do not need to arrive with answers. No previous retreat experience or special preparation is necessary, and you will never be asked to share more than you wish.
Come with whatever this season holds for you. Our hope is that you will leave with a clearer sense of what matters now, connection with other men, and one faithful step to carry into everyday life.
