Welcoming Prayer: A Path to Freedom

Welcoming Prayer: A Path to Freedom

For beginners and those needing a refresher. Facilitated by Ann Starrette and others.

Thursday, May 7, 2026

11:30 am - 1:00 pm EST

Cost $49

The Welcoming Prayer is a method of consenting to God’s presence and action in our physical and emotional reactions to events and situations in daily life. The purpose of the Welcoming Prayer is to deepen our relationship with God through consenting in the ordinary activities of our day — “consent-on-the-go.”

In this Online Event we will:

  • Clarify what we mean by the Welcoming Prayer as an active practice used in conflicted situations in everyday life, such as disagreements with loved ones, hostile actions from coworkers, road rage, and more.

  • Explore how the Welcoming Prayer offers a practice for releasing rather than stuffing or acting out negative emotions.

  • Identify key times when we are most in need of welcoming God's presence and action in our current, tumultuous experiences.

  • Practice the 3-movement process of dismantling our false self and embracing our true God self.

“Do you want to be right or do you want to be free?”

-- Mary Mrozowski, the creator and spiritual mother of the Welcoming Prayer Practice

The recording will be sent to all registrants after the event.

An optional 5-week follow-up practice group will also be available to all attendees for a low fee.
